Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that keep our network healthy and our customers deliverable.

Last updated · January 2026

01Consent is required

You must have explicit consent from recipients before sending marketing traffic. Transactional and one-time-password messages must relate to a service the recipient has requested.

02Prohibited content

Do not send: unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent content; content that promotes hate, violence, or exploitation; phishing, malware, or scams; unauthorized political or religious solicitation; and content prohibited by destination-country regulations.

03Restricted verticals

Certain verticals (gambling, adult, high-risk financial) may require pre-approval and are prohibited on some routes.

04Opt-out

Marketing traffic must honor STOP and equivalent keywords. We enforce this automatically and expose the unsubscribe list via API.

05Sender IDs

Use sender IDs you are authorized to use. Impersonation of banks, government, or third parties is grounds for immediate suspension.

06Reporting abuse

Suspected abuse can be reported to abuse@sendafrica.online. We investigate all reports.

07Enforcement

Violations may result in throttling, suspension, or termination without refund, and referral to authorities where required by law.
